This system not only guarantees that the card details will be transferred encrypted directly from the purchaser to the intermediary bank, but it also guarantees that at no time will they be provided to the seller. VPOS also uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) secure communication protocol in all its Internet communications and data transfers.
06. Do I need an SSL certificate?
No. The entire transaction is processed on the bank servers for security; therefore you do not need to install an SSL certificate.
07. How do I install VPOS on my website?
You must set up a “Card payment” or similar button on your website payment page. Then you must link this button to the hidden form that will collect the basic purchase details (amount, currency, order number, etc.). This will be sent to the server of the processor where the VPOS application is housed. We provide you all the necessary IT instructions to link your website to the virtual POS. These easy to follow instructions must be integrated by your IT service.
08. Who can I contact if I have doubts during installation?

17. Can a purchaser reject an authorised payment arguing not to have made such payment?
We have established all the necessary procedures for financial entities to incorporate into their virtual POS a way of verifying that online purchasers are the true holders of the cards used for payment. From the moment the virtual POS incorporates these authentication systems, businesses do note need to assume loses due to reversal of operations of cardholders that claim not to have made the purchases; these must be assumed by the card issuer.
18. What will the purchaser see at the end of the payment process?
On the final step of the transaction, the purchaser will be redirected to the VPOS payment gateway. At this time, they must enter the relevant details: credit card number, card expiry date, security code, etc. Next, a new window of the credit card issuer will open – the card PIN number will be requested on this page to ensure the security of the entire process.
19. How does the transaction appear on the purchasers account?
All transactions are shown on the accounts associated to the cards used in the payment process. The concept may vary according to the processing entity our client works with.
